HVAC Service Technician

Airite is searching for refrigerant certified service technicians for our office covering the Los Angeles/San Bernardino area(s).
Responsibilities include:
  • Responds to customer needs and maintains positive relationships with
    all assigned customers and Airite personnel.
  • Will serve as primary liaison within the area of assignment between the customer contact and Airite's service department.
  • Manage requisite facility and assigned system facility budgets.
  • Manage facility service and maintenance contracts as may be required.
  • Assist in the coordination of purchasing protocol and activity.
  • Responds to schedules and assigned work responsibilities in conjunction with Airite's call center and portfolio management.
  • Completes preventative maintenance schedule and performance in conjunction with Airite's call center and portfolio management.
  • Completes corrective maintenance or repair on assigned equipment.
  • Communicates to supervisor any information affecting or having the potential to affect customer or employee relations.
  • Assists in troubleshooting/correction of complex maintenance requirements that may include supporting additional technical personnel.
  • Ensures safe work practices and work environment and participates in scheduled safety training program requirements.
  • Completes necessary reporting requirements.

Individual will be responsible for all general and preventative maintenance requirements within the assigned customers' facilities. These activities will include providing optimal customer support that will include emergency, non-emergency, and scheduled response functions through effective time management and coordinated capabilities of the customer support call center.

Requirements:

  • High School or Technical School diploma or certificate of completion
  • Minimum three (3) years of facility maintenance experience
  • HVAC State certification valuable
  • Trade licensing valuable
  • Knowledge of the methods, practices and techniques of maintaining buildings and facilities
  • Knowledge of the equipment, tools and materials used in buildings and facilities
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and drawings
  • Able to assist in the maintenance of detailed activities and performance of service requirements
